Greg Sinacori began his dance training at the Stanford Dance Studio in Queens, NY. He is a graduate of LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts and has also received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance through the Ailey/Fordham BFA program. Upon graduation, Mr. Sinacori joined Alvin Ailey’s second company (Ailey II) under the direction of Sylvia Waters. He later went to dance with Parsons Dance Company where he toured both nationally and internationally under the direction of David Parsons. Sinacori has received numerous awards for his choreography at local competitions and was a finalist in the Arts Recognition and Talent Search in Miami, Florida. He is currently featured on the new hit Nickelodeon series The Backyardigans as the animated dancing moose, Tyrone, and can also be seen in The Music of Regret, a short film directed by Laurie Simmons at the Museum of Modern Art.
