John Prestianni — Since graduating S.U.N.Y. at Purchase in 1991 John has been a professional pianist, composer and accompanist and has crossed paths with many artists of renown. He has been on staff as an accompanist at several universities and schools, including Steinhart (NYU), American Theater Dance Workshop, and most recently LaGuardia High School. He is also the Musical Director for the newly reformed 'Kids Company' at the West Side YMCA. As a composer, member of the Tony Award Winning Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop (Advanced), in April 2008, he had a staged reading at the York of 'The Black Dahlia' written with Richard Sabellico and featuring Emily Skinner and Aaron Lazaar. Also, “The Vaudevillian” with writer/actor Brian Henry was read at the Lark theater while under development with Chelsea Rep/The Acting Studio in the spring of 2005.
