Elisa King received her BFA and MFA in dance from the University of California at Irvine, where she studied with Eugene Loring and Antony Tudor. She has danced with a wide variety of choreographers including Doug Varone, Peter Sparling and Gerald Otte. Ms. King is the artistic director of Epode, Inc./Elisa King and Dancers and has been a member of Zvi Gotheiner and Dancers since 1987. Her additional teaching includes the Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance, Peridance Center, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. Her choreography, featuring LaGuardia dance majors, is on permanent exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History.
